Clean Program

On the 1st of August, Alan and I started a 3 week cleanse called The Clean Program. It is supposed to restore your body to it's original self healing properties and be really good for you. However, these last 9 days have been the hardest of my life! The cleanse consists of 2 liquid meals and 1 solid, eaten at lunch so this is what my meals are looking like...


All of this good stuff made Al sick so he had to slow down and do just the one liquid meal but I am still "eating" that nasty green stuff for dinner. This has been so hard as some of the dinner options are just plain yucky! The one in the pic is one of the nasty ones. I decided to make the nasty ones breakfast and just get it over with and then I can enjoy a good smoothie with Al at dinner time. It has been good for me in that I have lost 8 pounds and have the clearest skin I have had since I was a baby! I do feel good and am definitely learning a lot from this experience! Saturday is the halfway point, wish me luck for these last 2 weeks!

  1. Oh my goodness, you are brave and I am envious. Post-pregnancy I may try the same thing, so keep us posted! Good luck hanging in there, if you've made it 9 days you can make it the rest!

  3. I'd love to hear/read/see a blog about your final analysis - was it worth it? Too hard to make it the full 3 weeks? (I won't judge! I don't think I could do it) Did it make you feel better? Or lose much weight? If you're up for telling, I'd love to hear :)
