I Know It. I Live It. I Love It.

Recently I found myself in a situation where my beliefs were being challenged in a place they should not have been. I attend LDS Business College that is ran by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the church that I belong to. As a requirement for graduation you must take a Book of Mormon class and I was excited to be in this class. I sat next to a girl that had a lot of questions, which is great! There is nothing wrong with asking questions. I answered them the best that I could but some questions she had were ones that I did not have an answer for and suggested she ask our teacher. Sometimes the answers we gave sufficed but some did not. She would get angry sometimes with our answers and tune out or leave. A few weeks ago after having one of her questions answered she was extremely upset, stormed out, and has not been back to class. My heart breaks for her and I continue to think that if only I would have known more I could have helped her better understand. I have been reflecting on this since it happened, and just want to put my testimony out to the world.  I don't know everything, that is for sure, but I do know that our Heavenly Father loves us. So much. We are all His children and He has a plan for us. I know that Jesus Christ lives and that He suffered for our sins so that we can return back to Heaven. I am thrilled to have a living Prophet on the earth today and know that when Thomas S. Monson speaks, they are words from God, and that when we follow them we will be blessed. Like I said, I don't know much deep doctrine but continue to learn each day that I attend church and school and read from the scriptures but I do know that our prayers are heard and will be answered in God's own timing and that His answer and direction will be what is best for us. These are the things I know and am extremely blessed to belong to this church. Happy Sunday!
