Scottish Festival

Incase some of you don't know, my husband has been playing the bagpipes for over a year now. 

                       

This was the day he got his bagpipes. He was seriously like  kid on Christmas. He had been taking lessons for several months before he actually got his pipes. (They start you on something called a chanter that sounds like a duck call. It's the funniest thing ever!) He definitely has a knack for it though and learned really fast. A few weeks ago was the first opportunity he had to compete with his band! However, when we arrived we found out that the people who put together performances had lost his information so unfortunately he didn't play this time. He was bummed but nonetheless it was fun to bum around the Festival with him in his full Scottish garb and hear the bands play. 

And PS- Santa Claus is a Ross, which is the clan I am from. Who knew!? That about sums up our day at the Scottish Festival. What are some of your husbands hobbies that you get the participate in?
